No one knows where Freya came from. The earliest records place her in Eldham three years before the invasion — working as a farrier, asking no questions, seeking no attention. The runes tattooed along her arms predate any known runic tradition by at least two centuries.
She fights with a shield and short sword combination that no living master recognizes. When Barow’s hammer activated, she was the first to step forward — as if she had been waiting. Jormund the Elder believes she has been waiting. For a very long time.
